Green Diwali
Its true firecrackers contribute to extensive pollution, but what about vehicular pollution? Why aren’t similar noises made against these polluters? We Love it that people are taking informed decisions in sustainable living, but hate the selective criticism against firecrackers. This project highlights two aspects, one being the need to switch to eco friendly celebrations, secondly to highlight there are other polluters which needs to be voiced out as importantly as how fireworks are voices out against.

OVERVIEW
Following the serious concerns on environmental pollution raised by the Honourable Supreme Court of India, at least two states of the country have given blanket ban on the use of several categories of fire crackers, including sparklers, smoke and sound emitting items during Diwali. We at the Anti-Pollution Drive (APD) Foundation urged the District Administration to prevail on the system to regulate the use of firecrackers and help our city to reflect the spirit of environmental protection.
