ABOUT NUDIDANTE NADE
Nudidante Nade is a part of APDF’s Smart Swaccha Mangaluru programme and is a focussed set of targeted campaigns, workshops and training sessions to help achieve segregation at source (at generator level). In this campaign, a key ingredient is that the various Government departments and the officials involved in framing rules for the citizens are now also focusing upon themselves to achieve segregation at source, thereby leading by example and showcasing how Government agencies are applying sustainable thinking.
Nudidante Nade is inspired from the popular idiom ‘Practice What You Preach’. Nudidante Nade is an initiative program curated by our team and supported by the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC). This project is envisaged to inspire and further encourage the general public to implement waste segregation in their own spaces.
WHY NUDIDANTE NADE ?
This project aims at delivering across stringent messages which can stir up emotions, create awareness and lead the way towards positive change. The core of empowering a community is by empowering the leaders first, who walk the talk and set high standards. It is important that, Government organisations & public buildings first adopt waste segregation within the premises so that it encourages the fellow citizens to emulate. Nudidante Nade would translate as a major step towards taking a community forward in terms of sanitation, cleanliness & environmental conservation.
