Educating the future is the teaching of individuals, and communities, in transitioning to a society that is knowledgeable of the environment and its associated problems, being aware of the solutions to these problems, and motivated to solve them. Engaging with citizens of all demographics to: Think critically, ethically, and creatively when evaluating environmental issues; make educated judgments about those environmental issues; develop skills and a commitment to act independently and collectively to sustain and enhance the environment; and, to enhance their appreciation of the environment; resulting in positive environmental behavioural change.
ABOUT EDUCATING THE FUTURE
Each college & school carries hundreds of potential change makers of our future. By reaching out to these institutions we hope to nurture and incept the importance of waste segregation. We also aim to imbed the concept of preserving the environment in the young minds. We hope to make a behavioural change in their lifestyle. This campaign plays a very significant role for us and we use a holistic approach in each school or college.
WHY IT IS IMPORTANT
Teaching environmental topics can bring out unexpected responses in individuals and communities. The main aspect of educating the future involves training individuals to thrive in a sustainable society. In addition to building a strong relationship with nature, individuals and communities must have the skills and knowledge to succeed over the prevailing issues of pollution.
